Basic: $100.00 - Photo with (or of) your horse, Bi-Weekly Visits

Horse Lover: $250 - Photo with (or of) your horse, Bi-Weekly Visits, One Free Annual Ride

Horse Rider: $500 - Photo with (or of) your horse, Bi-Weekly Visits, One Free Ride Per Month, One Free First Time Experience or Pony Ride, 15% Discount on Additional Rides, Special Offers, Invitations to Clinics, Invitations to Stable Functions.

Happy

Happy truly lives up to his name when outside. Unlike some peers who prefer a cozy stall, Happy finds joy in outdoor freedom. He thrives in the outdoors, where he can roam and explore to his heart's content. Happy is a vibrant member of the barn, enjoying his solitude and peaceful moments in nature. Don’t let his side eye fool you; with the right person, Happy is a very willing partner, always eager to embark on new adventures. His spirited nature makes him an excellent choice for someone who appreciates a horse that loves the outdoors as much as he does.

Syd

Syd is known for his soft muzzle and playful demeanor. His lively spirit makes him a joy to be around, and he has a knack for leaving a lasting impression on everyone he meets. Syd and Happy have been best buds for years, and it's clear that Syd doesn’t like being without his companion. With a silly side, Syd enjoys playing with things using his mouth, often entertaining himself and others with his antics. His cheerful nature and friendly personality make Syd an endearing addition to any equine family.

Max

Max, is well-known for his love of snacks. His fondness for treats is unmatched, and he eagerly anticipates every opportunity to indulge in his favorite goodies. On the trails, Max's adventurous spirit often leads to attempts at sampling the greenery along the path. While he enjoys exploring the outdoors, his curiosity for tasting trail-side foliage is a trait that requires careful management.

Vanner

Vanner, is a sight to behold with his striking brown and white coat. This beautiful gelding stands out not only for his appearance, but Vanner is known for his gentle demeanor. He is very fond of food and attention. If you're giving another horse attention in front of him, he wants in on the love too. Vanner and Max are half-brothers coming to us from Don Bode and Essig Farms.

Sunny

Sunny, a 25-year-old gelding, carries with him an ageless spirit that defies his years. His timeless energy and zest for life make him a beloved figure in the barn community. Sunny's joyful demeanor is infectious, bringing a sense of lightness and happiness to those around him. He approaches life with curiosity and a playful attitude, often joining in on the fun and games with younger horses. His boundless energy serves as a reminder that age is just a number, and that a spirited heart can keep one young forever.

Willow

Willow's story is a testament to resilience and new beginnings. At 22 years old, this black beauty has gracefully transitioned from a triumphant Dressage competitor to a cherished member of your family. Despite the setback of a leg injury that sidelined her from competitions, her past achievements are a reminder of her strength and grace, while her present role with you showcases her adaptability and enduring spirit. Willow excels in therapeutic riding sessions. Her patience shines with children and special needs riders, offering peace and confidence. Willow embodies quiet strength and kindness, enriching lives with her grace and compassion.

Charlie

Charlie is a spirited Standardbred with an inspiring story. From cart racing in Anderson to a Texas kill pen, his journey is one of resilience. Rescued by his original owner, Charlie is now learning to be a trail horse. Despite past challenges and being the youngest horse in our herd, he remains gentle, forming bonds with the two oldest companions like Woody and Sunny. Charlie’s story is a testament to resilience and the impact of love and care.

Woody

Woody, a 27-year-old gelding, is the barn's beloved elder. His gentle, affectionate nature makes him a favorite. Woody is versatile and dependable, perfect for novices or seasoned riders. His calm demeanor and trail confidence make him a true friend and cherished member of the Koteewi family. Due to his age, he has some difficulty keeping up on the trails, so we reserve him for our Adopt a Horse, pony rides, and First Time Horse Experience. Woody is known for his comforting presence and steady demeanor. He excels as a therapeutic riding horse, offering peace and confidence to riders.

Pipsqueak

Pipsqueak is a 12-year-old mini pony, small in size but big in personality. Known for his spunky attitude, he confidently stands out among larger horses.

Despite his cheekiness, Pipsqueak is a gentle companion for our littlest riders, making him perfect for 2–3-year-olds’ pony rides. His calm nature under saddle ensures a safe, fun introduction to riding.

He captures hearts and brings smiles wherever he goes, proving even the smallest can make a big impact.

Bailey

Bailey, a 17.1 HH warmblood, is hard to miss with her commanding presence. Next to her smaller friend, Pipsqueak, she brings smiles to all.

After some training in Dressage, Bailey is sensitive to rider cues makes her highly responsive and a joy to work with.

Bailey's laid-back temperament is described as “more Whoa than Go,” making her a reliable, calm companion. Her serene demeanor is ideal for those who enjoy a leisurely ride.

Bailey isn't just impressive in stature; she’s a skilled, gentle horse, making her a remarkable equine partner.

Buttercup

Buttercup is a charming 13-year-old pinto pony known for her gentle nature and love for being pampered. Her favorite pastime is being brushed, and her kind demeanor makes her a perfect companion for smaller guests.

In spring 2024, Buttercup arrived at our facility with a pasture mate due to unforeseen circumstances when their boarding facility was lost to development. Buttercup quickly adapted and became part of our family. After a year with us, Buttercup's owner found a new place to bring her back to. However, after a few months, it was clear she missed her job and one girl in particular at our barn. Her owner asked if we would welcome her back permanently. We gladly agreed, knowing she belonged with us. Today, Buttercup is a vital part of our family. Her journey is one of resilience and love. With a permanent home and a meaningful job, Buttercup is truly where she belongs, bringing joy to our lives.

Nova

Nova, now 22, exemplifies resilience and adaptability. Once a jumper, an injury ended her jumping career but not her spirit. She now enjoys daily walks along Koteewi’s flat trails, staying active and connected with her surroundings and herd.

Within her mare herd, Nova has found a close-knit family, especially bonding with friend Willow. They often graze and explore the trails together. Nova's story is an inspiration, showing that life's changes can lead to new joys and fulfillment.
